HALO — Terms of Use

Last updated: 26 June 2026

These Terms govern your use of HALO ("the app"), published by Gleapx. By using HALO you agree to them.

HALO is a safety aid, not an emergency service. It helps you reach the people you trust — it is not a replacement for 911 or your local emergency number. In a life-threatening emergency, always call your local emergency services first. We cannot guarantee that an alert or location will be delivered (this depends on your device, signal, and the carrier/recipients).

Your account

You sign in with phone-number verification. You are responsible for the accuracy of your profile and the guardian contact details you enter, and for having permission to add those people as your guardians.

Acceptable use

You agree to use HALO lawfully. Recording people may be restricted by the laws of your location — you are responsible for using the Evidence feature in compliance with applicable consent and recording laws. Do not misuse SOS or alerts.

Disclaimers & limitation of liability

HALO is provided "as is", on a best-effort basis, without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gleapx is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any failure or delay in delivering an alert or location, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the app.

Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes will be reflected here with a new date.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
